ALMA and the Radzyner School of Law of the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) would like to invite you to the next session of the Joint International Humanitarian Law Forum. The session will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, 18:30 in room S4, Marc Rich Building, IDC Campus, Kanfei Nesharim St., Herzliya, Israel.

This session will include:

1. An introduction and acknowledgement of ALMA's 7 year's anniversary.

2. A presentation by Adv. Ido Rosenzweig on "Regulating the Un(der) Regulated - Protection of Own Forces from War Crimes & Crimes against Humanity" following the recent decisions by the ICC (Ntaganda case) and ECCC with regard to the prohibition of, inter alia, rape and sexual slavery against members of one's own forces.

Adv. Ido Rosenzweig is a co-founder and chairman of ALMA; Director of Research (Terrorism, Belligerency & Cyber) at the Minerva Center for the Rule of Law for Extreme Conditions in the University of Haifa; and a research fellow and a PhD candidate at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem's Faculty of Law.

Adv. Yael Vias Gvirsman is a co-founder and board member of ALMA; the Founder and Director of the International Criminal and Humanitarian Law Clinic at the IDC; PhD Candidate at the Hebrew University on the ICC as a form of intervention in the Israeli/Palestinian conflict; and an independent lawyer specializing in International Law; Yael has worked on Defence teams at the International Criminal Court, the SCSL and the ICTR.

Following the presentation, there will be an open round-table discussion.
