28th Jean-Pictet Competition Details and Submission Deadline!

The 28th Jean-Pictet Competition will take place in Évian-les-Bains, France, from 19 to 26 March 2016.

The deadline for the submission of applications is 9 November 2015, 23.00 UTC. Any file that is incomplete or submitted after that date will not be taken into consideration.

Summer Course Final Session Details!

The final session of the course will take place on September 8th, between 14:00 - 19:00, at Tel Aviv University

 


The session's schedule is as follows:

2) 15:45 - Refugees and IHL - Adv. Keren Michaeli,Head of Legal Department, UNHCR, Israel

The lecture on Military Objectives and Targeting will be given by Captain Ortal Naftali from the International Law Department of the Military Advocate General's Office

2) 10:20- 11:35 -  ICRC Activities in Detention - Barbara Zueger - Deputy Protection Coordinator in Charge of Detention, ICRC


3) 11:45 - 13:00 - Military Objectives and Targeting - Captain Ortal Naftali, International Law Department of the Military Advocate General's Office


4) 13:00 - 13:30 - Lunch (will be provided)


5) 13:30 - 15:00 - The Competition from the Perspective of a Former Participant - Yifat Rozen, participant and  finalist, the 8th National IHL Competition
