IHL Summer Course For The Participating Teams

This summer, ALMA, in cooperation with the ICRC, will provide again a 6 meetings "crash course" on IHL for all students participating in the 5th national competition.
The aims and purposes of the IHL summer course is to introduce the competition to the students and provide the students with the main topics of IHL studies as well as related branches of law.
During the Course the students will be exposed to the basic principles and norms governing different aspects of IHL as well as receive practical inputs from different scholars and practitioners on the application of those in the competition and reality.
The first meeting will be held on Sunday, July 10th, 10:00-13:00 at the IDC (Herzeliya) - room CL03.
The lecturer - ALMA's vice-chairman - adv. Tom Gal, will address the following topics:
(1) general information regarding the competition;
(2) remarks and suggestions in regard to the preparation for the competition and the related bibliography;
(3) introduction to IHL.
The Summer course full program will be updated in the following weeks and uploaded to the competition's internet site.
