Summer Course - Third and Fourth Sessions

We are pleased to announce on the third and the fourth sessions of this year's IHL Summer Course.

The third session's schedule is as follows:

September 6, between 9:00-15:00, at Bar-Ilan University, Laws Building 305, Hall of Laws no. 11.

9:00 - 9:15 - arrival and registration

9:15 - 10:45 – Peacekeeping forces – Adv. Karen Loehner (ICRC)

10:45 - 11:00 - short break

11:00 - 12:30 – ICRC Activities in Detention – Raad Al-Husban (ICRC)

12:30 - 13:00 - short break

13:00 - 14:30 – Cyber and IHL – Adv. Deborah Housen-Couriel

14:30 - 15:00 – Cyber and IHL (ICRC's Position) – Adv. Mickey Orkin (ICRC)

The fourth session's schedule is as follows:

September 14, between 9:00-15:15, at Tel-Aviv University, building of Laws Faculty, room no. 206.

9:00 - 9:15 – arrival and registration

9:15 - 10:45 – International Criminal Law - Dr. Gilad Noam (Ministry of Justice)

10:45 - 11:00 – short break

11:00 - 12:30 – IHL & IHRL - Adv. Shani Dann (Ministry of Justice and ALMA member)

12:30 - 13:00 – short break

13:00 - 14:30 – Philosophy of IHL - Dr. Idit Shafran Gittleman (Israel Democracy Institute).

14:30 - 14:45 – short break.

14:45 - 15:15 – The Competition from the Perspective of a Former Participant – Tamar Sacerdoti
