New Project - ICC Trial Competition - National Round

ALMA- the Association for the Promotion of International Humanitarian Law (ALMA) is proud to announce its special co-operation with the International Criminal Law Network (ICLN) for the organisation of the Israeli National Round of the ICC Trial Competition.

The ICC Trial Competition is unique in its direct focus on ICC proceedings and international criminal law. This is a 5 days competition which takes place every year in the spring time in the Hague. During the competition, students gather from different universities from around the world to compete in the field of International Criminal Law.

ALMA is responsible for organizing the National Round of the ICC Trial Competition in Israel based on an exclusive Agreement signed between ICLN and ALMA.

In order to assist the winning team of the National Round in Israel, ALMA has reached an agreement with the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs to provide for a travel grant to the Finals in The Hague from 21-26 April 2013.

Registration begins on 1 October 2012 and ends on 19 October 2012

The National ICC Competition Project was initiated and is headed by Adv. Yael Vias Gvirsman
